Wednesday’s third race at Parx is a $12,500 claiming race going a mile and seventy yards on the dirt. Among the entrants is the three-year-old Golden Lad filly Goldieness, a three-time winner in nine starts who has earned just shy of $75,000 in her career. This filly caught my eye because she is the first foal out of an old watchlist horse of mine, the Big Brown mare Cara Blythe.
